Drinking Water Essentials
What you drink matters more than you think!
If you’re read this, this is your sign to ditch the plastic bottled water!
Researchers have found that on average there’s over 240,000 tiny pieces of plastics in bottled water. Yes, even the ones labeled “spring” or “alkaline.” These plastics disrupt your hormones, burden your liver, and build up in your body over time
Here’s what I do instead:
Use glass or stainless steel bottles only (I carry mine everywhere).
I structure and remineralize my water every single morning with the Mayu Swirl. This creates vortex-structured water that mimics spring flow: alive, oxygenated, and bioavailable. Look at the photo below of the before and afters from their research. (It only take 7-minutes and the water is good for up to 72-hours…plus the water tastes better!)

What type of water should you be drinking?
Not all water is created equal. Just because it’s clear doesn’t mean it’s clean or bioavailable (aka actually hydrating your cells). Here’s the breakdown:
Alkaline Water
Yes, it can help neutralize acidity and reduce inflammation short term, but long-term? It may blunt your stomach acid (aka HCL) which is essential for digesting protein, killing pathogens, and absorbing nutrients like B12 and zinc.
⚠️ If you drink alkaline water regularly, you may need to supplement with Betaine HCL to support digestion. Think of it this way: your stomach is supposed to be acidic (and your mouth, alkaline…more on that later)…don’t confuse your gut by over-alkalizing it!
Distilled Water
Super clean: because it's boiled and vaporized, removing everything, including toxins… but also minerals your body benefits from.
Sole Long-term distilled water = mineral deficiency and electrolyte imbalance.

Spring Water
Straight from the earth: mineral-rich, naturally structured, and how our ancestors hydrated.
This is my top choice if the source is clean and tested. Look for:
Local spring options in glass (brands like Mountain Valley Spring or Saratoga)
I recommend the Oasis Water App to ensure the water is actually clean.
Now…What about hydrogenated water?
This is one of the trendiest and most science-backed ways to upgrade your water even further. Hydrogen is the smallest, most bioavailable antioxidant. Hydrogen water is simply regular water infused with additional molecular hydrogen gas. This water penetrates deep into your cells (even the mitochondria) to help fight oxidative stress, boost energy, and reduce inflammation. I prefer the tablets-these deliver over 12 PPM (parts per million) of molecular hydrogen-compared to most machines, which typically produce lower levels and can degrade over time.
